Watch as local community members swing for the fences, enjoy delicious snacks, and cheer on the players - all while making a difference for our KAU 12U Golden Knights Little League team.

    Everyone is celebrated for participating, and winners get a miniature engraved keepsake for generations of bragging rights. Hit a home run? Go ahead and tell everyone! You have our permission.

  • Food + Entertainment

    Music will be playing, and food will be available for purchase. We even have a few surprises up our sleeve to make the night extra fun!

  • Community support

    By purchasing a ticket, you’ll be supporting the KAU 12U Golden Knights' trip to Cooperstown, NY, this summer.

How it works

Buy a ticket on this website for each person participating, and you’ll be automatically registered.

Mark your calendar for the night of Oct 12th at 5:00PM at the KAU fields in Kennett Square, PA. Each player gets five swings!

Take your best swing! You’ll be placed in the right division, with all ages and genders welcome.

FAQs

  •  It will take place on October 12th at 5PM. The first pitch will be thrown at 5:30.

  • The Home Run Derby is conveniently located at the KAU baseball fields, 299 Leslie Road, Kennett Square, PA  19348. The Women and Elementary divisions will be hitting at the Lower Field while the remaining batters tee off at the Upper Field.

  • No! This is a fun event for anyone who loves baseball, softball, or just sports in general. We have fields and bats of different sizes based on your gender and age.

  • An underhand front toss method or a pitching machine will be used for all batters.

  • The age groupings are Men, Women, High School, Middle School, and Elementary School. If you’re over age five and want to join, please come!

  • Glad you asked! We have different rules and field assignments based on your gender and age. This makes it fair and fun for everyone! You can find them here.
